Topic: This session looks to discuss the main drivers of bank disclosed profits and losses including impacts caused by IFRS9 (and associated bad debts), NIM falls and interest rate reductions.  Is there any hope for a recovery in bank share prices?

Greg Case

Greg is currently Head of Fixed Income Investor Relations at HSBC, responsible for managing the Group’s relationship with its debt investors, credit analysts and rating agencies globally.  He joined HSBC in February 2018 from Morgan Stanley where he was a Vice President in Credit Research, covering European banks.  Before this, Greg worked in various roles at RBS from 2008 – primarily in Fixed Income Investor Relations along with time in Equity Investor Relations and Finance within RBS’s Global Banking & Markets division.  Greg is a Chartered Management Accountant and holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Sheffield.
