We are delighted to launch the 2019 ALMA Summer Conference in conjunction with AFGAP which, this year, will be held at the Copthorne Hotel, Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne on 13th and 14th June. Please do put the dates in your diary. In true ALMA fashion, we will have the conference dinner on the evening of Thursday 13th with the full conference taking place on Friday 14th.
We are extremely excited to be holding our conference in Newcastle for the first time. A full agenda available here.
The cost to attend both the dinner on Thursday 13th June and the conference on Friday 14th will be £260 + VAT per head (inclusive of bed and breakfast). If you wish to attend just the conference, the cost will be £170 + VAT. Payments can be made either by bank transfer or by PayPal.
In order to assist with travel arrangements, trains run regularly from London Kings Cross to Newcastle and the journey time is just under three hours. Easyjet and British Airways both fly to Newcastle from London airports. For our friends in AFGAP, there are flights from Paris directly to Newcastle, taking just under 2 hours.
