ALMA’S ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2023 – A CELEBRATION OF 30 YEARS

ALMA’s 30th Annual Conference, Thursday 26th and Friday 27th January 2023 at the Runnymede Hotel in Egham.

We are retaining the two day live only format and on Friday we have a diverse range of presentations covering many of the prominent developing themes for 2023. We will be starting with the UK Economic Outlook and the capital implications for firms from credit developments in the higher rate environment. From the regulatory respective we will be delving into the PRAs ‘Strong and Simple framework’ exploring the implications for smaller firms and also looking at the broader regulatory roadmap to appraise on the upcoming requirements. There will be a focus on modelling and analytics looking into the changes in customer behaviour and we will also take a look at the recent developments in Cryptocurrencies and Central Bank Digital Currencies including expected developments in 2023.  Finally we will consider the merits of creating a sustainable bond issuance framework and its value as ESG rating methodologies mature.
