Climate Challenges & Opportunities for ALM
Face to Face at Tenter House, London
9th December 2022, 9am – 1pm, including lunch
“We focus on sustainability not because we’re environmentalists, but because we are capitalists and fiduciaries to our clients” (Blackrock, 2022).
Shareholders, investors, customers and regulators are increasingly focussed on how firms are managing the transition to a low-carbon economy. This has implications for firms’ management of their capital, liquidity and funding.
This new course explores the opportunities and financial risks of climate change, specifically from an ALM perspective. As a half-day course, it offers a time- and cost-efficient way to keep up-to-date with this fast-evolving topic. There is plenty of opportunity to hear from leading practitioners and to network over lunch.
The course is offered as a stand-alone course or as part of the Foundations of ALM course.
This course will be run face-to-face in London. However, we reserve the right to revert to online teaching dependent on
Covid 19 restrictions.
Please contact info@ukalma.org.uk for further details.
